Headlight failure

    honda ca77, megelli x2,fzr yamaha x 5 ,maxim,cb750.cb600 hornet,zxr250,marusho magnum electra.
    going out on the honda the other nite and the headlite went out. checked bulb andall good, checked connections in headlight housing. pull apart, spray with marine dwf and reassemble. no change.pull on overtaking light lever and lite on.. ah the switch block...scratch the head and think ...pull apart or spray with electrical clean and lube[ jaycar $11.50]spend the money and spray through blinker switch.FLICK BACK AND FORTH and EUREKA..... MUST BE DIVINE AS THE LITE SHONE. coorrosion and a little spray and many flicks and all is well. ALSO spray lithium grease in tank keyhole and ignition switch and the mojo comes back.

    Know what you mean risky, I live on the water front and everything is affected by corrosion, I use huge amounts of WD40, never lets me down. Lights on, still somebody home.
