Hi, my name is Wim and I am from the netherlands. I bought a Honda CBF250 for my wife as her first bike. She is hoping to get her license very soon and she can't wait to ride the bike. The only thing she is missing is a gear indicator. The bike she uses at the driving school has this feature and she would be very happy if her own bike would have it. So I bought a GlPro gear indicator from HealTech. I'm hoping to find a good electrical diagram or info from anyone who installed one. greatings, Wim
Hi Wim, I have a 2007 CBF and a PDF manual. The wiring diagram is very low resolution and does not scale up! @kiffsta - I can email you the PDF if you like?
welcome.tell your wife a gearbox is like piano keys and after a while the motor sound is music to the ears.
@kiffsta Thank you for your reply. I know about a manual as PDF and this has the some problem, the resolution of the wiring diagram is too low. This diagram if readable is the only thing I need.
The later model CBF250 is also called the CBX250 Twister Manual is here http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?resources/categories/cbx-cbf250.49/
Heres an explanation about downloads etc http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threa...premium-membership-workshop-manuals-etc.2123/ cheers mate
I have downloaded the part of the servicemanual I am interested in. This seems to be the same manual available in other places on the net with the same low resolution wiring diagram. I would be very happy if someone could tell me which lead in the connector to the instruments sends the RPM signal. Thats the only lead I could not figure out myself
Good news, I've found a manual with a readable wiring diagram!! It is in spanish but I don't think that should be a problem. I will upload the diagram to the forum, so it can be added to the manual section. Cheers, Wim
It's most likely Portuguese rather than Spanish as these bikes were built in Brazil. Great work finding it though!
Excellent Wim I did a bit of a search today but didn't find anything definitely put it in the Resources
