    @dave
    well thx dave i finally got out of all troubles and thx to this site that i did all by myself, just want to share one thing that came in my knowledge, if the bike temp gauge is touching red zone then one thing should also b checked that is the thermo sensor, i had a local one and after that much time and registering resistance that screwed up and was giving up flase reading, so i went to the spare market and bought a orignal FZR 250 thermo sensor Made in Japan, with a round head for the ground wire, i guess mostly guys have flat head for the ground connection, if it is so then try changing the thermo with orignal one, that solved my temp gauge prb.

    I don't think it would make a huge of difference to performance, but they do sound nice.

    @Dave, hmm bro a dealer is selling this muffler( used ) he has YZF R1 and he is asking almost $600 for this muffler, well i`ve asked him that first i want to try this muffler on my bike then i`ll decide should i buy it or not, i`ll tell u abt the performance changes if notify.

    " Many newer motorcycle have OEM actuated valve or extra baffles in the tail section. Half system replaces them with straight through tail pipe for maximum horsepower gain. "

    well @Dave that muffler sound quite gud, i tried it on even did`nt felt a difference withoutt the EXUP removed, the torque is quite considerable at abt 8k rpm, plus arround 14/16k rpm the sound seems like awsum, i m going for it. well Dave here is a very stupid question, my Bike Chasis # says 2KR and Engine # says 1HX1 ?? so which model is that ? i went through ur website but could`nt find any model with this specification ?

    Go with the 2KR on the chassis - being an EXUP model it is 1988-early '89. The 1HX is part of the engine number

    Removing the EXUP will seriously reduce the power below 8,000rpm. Mine was wired up fully open and nonfuctional
    (it had broken cables) when I bought my 2KR and it was much better when I fixed it with new cables. My bike had a
    Remus muffler, very sweet sound.
