Hi all, just picked up this 89 model FZR250R 3LN1 I believe.
Having a few issues with it, mainly with the clutch adjustment, feel free to give me any pointers :p

Looks in good nick, judging by the stator cover it hasn't been thrown down the road... not on the right side anyway.

3LN1-3LN5 carbies tend to wear the emulsion tube and needle when the idle mixtures are not set correctly, leading to a point where no matter how much you adjust it, it won't run right.

If you have issues taking off from a stand still, going uphill, or the bike flooding/bogging/stalling then you have to replace the emulsion tubes and needles in the carbs and then balance the idle mixture screws.

1st pointer... give serious consideration moving to Tamworth NSW as this is considered the FIZZER hub in Australia :lolsign:
You will find huge amounts of intel on the fzr250 from the lads in Tamworth, they know these bikes well and are open to sharing Knowledge with all.

    Lastly............nice bike :thumb_ups:
