    hey guys

I've been riding for a while now, since my late teens, and I absolutely refuse to "upgrade" from my faithful cherry red Across. we've been together for well over a decade and I'm hoping to keep her going as long as they make her parts.

My ride is a 1995 Suzuki GSX250F Across. that's the one with the storage space where everyone else has a fuel tank. did you know you can fit a carton's worth of crown lager in there, if you take em outta the box? :p

My husband has managed to crash my bike. He's not the first, my dad dropped her a few years ago. It's mostly superficial thank goodness. I should be able to clean her up without too much worry - if i can get the parts.

I've also managed to do most of my own maintenance over the years - from changing chains & sprockets, to oil changes etc. I like to keep her as original as possible though - So i've done things like cleaning up & respraying the exhaust periodically instead of just putting a yoshi on it.

I'm currently after a Stator cover. desperately so. I didn't realise that my bike seems to be the only one that doesn't have a squillion parts for it on ebay! Makes me sad really. I'd hate for her to be off the road for long.

    Anyways, thanks :)

:welcome: What is wrong with your stator cover? We (members) recently restored one for an FZR that was sent to Ireland, so we may be able to fix yours.
