just to say gidday, old bloke ,have a num of bikes but always been keen on 250s because they are light weight and fun so when this 87 cbx250 came up unmolested / original and cheap couldn't resist adding it to the stable, been looking for a workshop manual but found like so many others, impossible to find though found a owners manual here but for some reason wont let me download it ,any help or suggestions would be great
ahh..should have read more /researched more, now upgraded with $5 subscription, thanks I think it will be well worth the donation
damm , the cbx250 rs seems to be the previous model don't think all that simmiler as its only top speed 84 mph where 85-87 cbx250 top is 102mph so simmiler but different motor (mines twin cam) / frame ??? maybe some cbx250 owners may help out with info ,the owners manual posted will definitely help with basics ,had a lot of problems with my ducati 250 dating it through engine / frame numbers (turned out to be impossible) luckily the cbx is already in good condition so wont have to start off with a rebuild
no worrys photos up when can locate a camera , I'm 1 of the few without a mobile ph / camera (pet hate.. mobile phs) maybe why like old bikes ...no computors in them...other bike is yam xs650
