    Just checking out bikepoint, and it's interesting to note the different prices for the FZR250, FZR250R, and FZR250RR

    FZR250 (avg price $4400):

    FZR250R (avg price $4550):
    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://bikepoint.ninemsn.com.au/DesktopDefault.aspx?Make=YAMAHA&Model=FZR250R&PriceFrom=-1&PriceTo=-1&SearchMethod=quicksearch&MTA=False&TabID=3424&Alias=bikepointau">http://bikepoint.ninemsn.com.au/Desktop ... ikepointau</a><!-- m -->

    FZR250RR (avg price $5350)!!:
    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://bikepoint.ninemsn.com.au/DesktopDefault.aspx?Make=YAMAHA&Model=FZR250RR&PriceFrom=-1&PriceTo=-1&SearchMethod=quicksearch&MTA=False&TabID=3424&Alias=bikepointau">http://bikepoint.ninemsn.com.au/Desktop ... ikepointau</a><!-- m -->

    Considering Sumoto's advertising them as all three (250's, 250R's, and 250RR's)... it would be interesting to see how they distinguish them.

    Whatever it is, looks like now's a good time to sell <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->

    Considering they're all the same bike.

    The R at the end means ****.

    This is really a misleading market :S

    In a way I can kind of understand the increase - yeah, the bikes are getting older, but the newer learner legal bikes on the road simply don't compare. As more and more of the fizzers get written off, demand will increase.

    Still, $6.5k is way beyond its value. CBR's aren't worth that much IMO, even if they do to tend to sell at that range,

    But the rich kids who want to blow money will get one. After all a Fizzer is faster than a Cibber.

    Then the Cibber is King Crown of all dumbasses. No offense.

    Yes I'm being sterotypical but come on, you know it too.

    I like the ~1989 2kr - no.1 on the first link listed as:

    2001 YAMAHA FZR250
    52,096 kms

    » View Details $5,490 » Enquire Now "

    Holy ****. I sold mine (exactly the same with only 26000km) for 3 grand.
    250 dealers are just about the dodgiest dudes on the planet, anyone out there looking to buy - GO PRIVATE.
