I never had concerns when riding on wet. I had Pirelli Angel on my bike, plenty of grip on wet as well. But I guess my riding style is quite safe too, and that might explain why I never had "moments" when riding on wet.

Riding a motorcycle requires a lot of concentration, hence I choose to not ride in the rain if I can avoid it.
I simply find no pleasure riding in the rain, must confess "gravel" doesn't get me excited either.

I don't know Phil, looked pretty exciting the day the Hyo hit the gravel at Drake.

depends on tyre brand and compound. i hate magstorms on the megelli,s in the wet but michelins and bridgestones are ok for me.

I only am a bit scared when it just starts raining and the roads are greasy. If it has poured down the previous night I'm pretty comfortable on the roads. One time on my MC22 I accidentally did a rolling burnout out of a slip lane when I was trying to outrun some approaching rain. So the wet roads can offer some fun too. I can recall any moments that were due to the rain. The worst thing is spray off other cars.

Your dead right, first light rain is deadly till all the crap is washed away, you can feel it in a car, twice as bad on a bike. There should always be a degree of fear on a bike, that's what keeps us alive & wanting more.

With the right tyres I don't see a problem, but I have made the rosso's slip quite a few times in cold weather or the rain and being a hero is a bad idea hahaha.

Came off the road in a car by going over white lines in the wet too fast. As you can imagine I stay as far away from them on the bike as I can :(

odd, riding in the rain on roads doesn't bother me, maybe as i'm from Ireland and spent my days riding in the rain thats why but racing in the rain is a different story all together, i'm overly cautious.....

i think most of my wet road fears stem from riding on roads that were both icy and wet which are ridiculously slippery, realistically the grip on a wet road isn't bad at all 99% of the time until one day you just slip out of nowhere and never feel comfortable leaning on a wet road again haha

I NEVER ride if the forecast is for rain - ever. I don't like riding in poor, potentially slippery conditions or having to constantly be aware of not being upright on white lines etc etc. But the main reason is that my bike, being a cruiser, is covered in chrome and looks like total crap when covered in road grime. Takes a good hour to clean it. I just go by car and spend all day being a misery guts.

It's not the wet roads that bother me, it's the local idiot cagers that do not know how to drive in the rain that bother me.

I should probably be a bit more scared of them after this incident last year that was completely my fault.
