hey everyone, im ed from mt gambier. currently not riding due to loss of license, still a few more months left before i can get on the road, its breaking my balls! haha
ive occasionally browsed a few threads on here before but now that ive joined, i can see its a pretty awesome forum! lots of enthusiasts and no douches and lots of great info. sweet.

i am a proud owner of a Suzuki gsx250f and since joining this forum ive noticed there a frickin tonne of these bikes out there. mines a 94 with 22xxx on the clock and i bloody love it.

picked the bike up mid last year but have been slowly getting it up to a nice standard, even though it was in great nick, pretty much stripped it down and cleaned every nook and cranny. now in the process of respraying it. il give it a huge service when im nearing the end of my license loss term. but generally getting bits and pieces ready to give it an awesome send off for its first trip in forever! haha

anyways, much impressed with the site and people. thanks again :)

Hey Edwardo or ed for short
Welcome to the forum. Sorry about the license issue, bit hard when the bike is just sitting there. As you say a good time to give the once over. Like your choice of bike, great machine.
Some photos of your trustee steed would be great.

Hi ed welcome to the forum

I can relate to the no licence problem as I had a similar experience many years ago when I had more money to waste on fines. I still go fast just smarter ;D

At least you are putting the down time to good use and getting the bike spot on.

so i posted some pics before but i dont think i did it properly ha so heres the second attempt. heres my bike, plus my brothers old ninja 250 and my friends cbr250rr. hmm about the colour, i was pretty set on a really nice pearl white off the new honda accords but my painter just got back to me with prices... sadly way out of my budget, even with a few cashies i did for him backing me up (im an electrician). so im settling for a nice bright, crisp white with maybe something in the top coat. but im open to suggestions/opinions if someone on here has seen a decent paint job or colour. its just i saw an across painted white on ebay and i think it looked great. but yeah :)

Welcome to the forum edwardo! I myself own an across, and loving it, fantastic bike!

Having a bike and no license must suck :( I feel your pain, having spent some time with a license and no bike (nearly as bad imho!)

I'm looking at setting up a respray on mine some time too, however need the cash :(

Enjoy the forum, it's a great place for info, especially if you have some technical difficulties, and there's a lot of us here with across's or those who have owned them and still remember how to make them tick!
