well it was running for a week... then after 260kms it started running out of fuel. switch too reserve and it had taken an age to clear its throat but came good. 5kms later it stops on me.

Look in the tank and to my surprise heaps of fuel. See a rust coloured fuel filter and scream FFS. turn the tap to prime and some instances of pushing and running on 2 and 1/2 cylinders i got it home. My intank fuel filter went walkabout (rattling around the tank and clogged the tap and filter. I also assume i have clogged jets as well. My red tank is now having a vinegar soak and the carbs come off AGAIN saturday.

Oh well I was going to split the bank this weekend anyways need to check the air T-piece o rings as they are the only other place a vacuum leak could be.

If there's crap in the bowls then yeah carbs off and clean em out. If its just clogged jets you can try adding carby cleaner or fuel injector cleaner to your fuel and ride hard... I'm about to try this out on the blue fizzer

The fizzers do that as well when the idle circuits are not set properly. Since fiddling with my idle screws one at a time the revs don't rise or fall either way you lean the bike.

Yeah good job, unfortunately I can't set idle screws whilst it's running without buying a tool. So it'll do.

Because there is so many, that he hasnt had time to form an emotional attachment to them. The longer something stays, the more you get attached to it.
