Idle mixture screws.

    Can anyoneplease tell me what effects it has if the idle mixture screws aren't corretly tuned?

    Idle mixture screws control the air/fuel ratio between zero and 1/8 throttle. They should be set at three turns out from fully in. Set them and forget them. Hope this helps.

    where are they on the bike?

    On a 3LN they are the screws below the float bowls. you don't need to remove the bowls to see them.
