I've just completed the "P-Off" course, which means I can get 4 extra points on my licence, and no longer need to display my P's (although all other restrictions for P-platers still apply). However, I find myself at a loss. Over the last month I have been taking great pleasure in slapping down try-hard CBR250 riders on my humble learner-legal dirt bike. I feel that if they don't know my bike is also learner legal, they won't feel as humiliated. What am I to do?
<!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_roll.gif" alt="" title="Rolling LoL" /><!-- s:roll: --> You are still on your p's and although you don’t need to display the plate you could if you wanted. If it where up to me I would leave it off, p plates tend to attract all the wrong sort of attention. What made you do the course? need the extra points?
yeah, been holding out for them for a while. got clocked doing 122km/h i a 90 zone when overtaking traffic. think i had a bitch on ehre about it at the time. Policeman dropped it down to 30km/h so I didn't lose my licence. Also was nice enough to ignore the lack of P-plate and the tyres that needed replacing... but yeah, considering my main mode of transport is my bike, having only 1 point left probably isn't smart.
how nice of the police officer to do so i had in idiot cop try and defect my 3 week old dunlop front tyre as it didnt have as much tread as a car tyre but i did beat him off the line!
