    Not entirely sure of the benefits other than the opportunity to catch up with other riders and take part in rides.

    My old man tells me there's discounts and bonuses via various accessory suppliers but I don't know how much this amounts to.

    All I'm really after is to ride with others and meet some people - I moved here for work reasons a few years ago and I still don't know anybody in the area. The only people I know to talk bikes with are my dad and 2fiftycc.  :wave:

    I'll see how it goes...

    Good decision mate, if that's where the rides are, you gotta go with it.

    We live in such a vast continent, not always easy to find likeminded people on every corner. The net brings us together but not for rides.

    It looks like I will be joining you as another old bugger and join as well.

    They had a week long party in Newcastle earlier this year. Although they call it a AGM. I had the chance to talk to some of the visitors and every one was having a great time.

    There are 2 local groups close to me and one has regular rides so I am thinking about joining up and have some one to ride with as all the guys I know with bikes are members already, have dirt bikes or live too far away to ride with regularly.

    So it is your intention to "GROW OLD DISGRACEFULLY", well done mate.
    The club has something like 120 branches across Australia, if you can't get a ride, then you aren't trying. I am astounded how many bikes I see with the Ulysses emblem. We look forward to some feed back.

    I have no problem growing old disgracefully as long as I don't have to grow up!!!!

    There are about 6 branches in the area and 2 that meet within 25km of home.
    I have meet several members over the last couple of years and they all have great things to say about the Ulysses Club. Although I do love just being able to hop on the bike and go when and where it takes me some company would be nice.

    After they had there AGM in Newcastle it got me thinking again about joining.

    I will let everyone know how I go
