Hey guys, I have done an order for a couple of parts for myself and YellowFZR but I will be doing another bulk order in the next few weeks for brand new genuine Yamaha parts from a US supplier, so if you need anything then send me the part number or the Model/Year of your bike and the type of part it is and I will sort out the part number for you.

Just to give you an idea of pricing, FZR250 drive rubbers for the back wheel are $150 for a set (6) from Yamaha here in OZ, I had 6 of them in my order as well as misc bolts and screws, hose and a battery band all posted for under 80 USD.

Now that sounds great but with the bulk order postage will be a killer as 9kg of items comes in at $133.

Anyway let me know if you need anything then PM, reply or join my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/114019526839/ (bit small now since I didn't revive it in time).

Cheers, Trev.

Hello mate,
I may be up for a few bits and bobs
Im pulling things apart presently so will have a look at whats needed this week.

I was going to post a WTB list anyway to see where the best place to even source common bits and of course the more obscure.

A guy from Cali USA on another forum says the FZR250 is quite rare over there but I guess alot of parts are common over the FZR range .... especially the 400......

cheers

Have not actually arrived as yet, the order only left the supplier the other day, when you say clutch hub are you talking about the hub on the rear wheel?

Yea the one with the sproket attached that falls onto your toes when u pull the back wheel out ........

Im just trying to gauge the condition of the rubbers....they look just fine but I have no idea how hard/soft they should be and how much free play the hub should have.

We are on the same page.

I am honestly not sure but I laid my wheel flat on the ground and was able to move my sprocket back and forth about 4mm, this was after I removed the electrical tape that was wrapped around the blocks to make them more snug.

Electrical tape.....hmmm ...........must be the same guy who attached the cowlings with roofing screws on my bike.

My hub moves about 2mm.....Ill be interested to hear how yours is with new rubbers in.

thanx Trev

I installed the dampers tonight and WOW, I had to use force to install the coupling into the wheel and there is also no movement.

Greyimport is that your actual plate in your display pic?

I have 90-FZR for mine, I will have to do a rides thread some time soon.

Re: I'm ordering parts from a US supplier, anyone need anyth

Sounds like I had better put rubbers on the parts list......

When I pulled apart the wheel etc on the "second" bike there was only very small movement compared to the main bike......but u would think the rubber would harden up over time anyway.

That plate was just from playing about on the NSW RTA website.....would be nice to have, but they charge an arm and a leg ..... with 2 cars,a boat and a bike to register and insure I pay those bastards enough.
Maybe when the lengthy FZR buy list is empty!

are there any large pics of your bike on here Trev?
