Harley and Triumph must have taken all the good spots in Thailand
There are loads of articles about this ZX-25R, so this one might be the real deal. Can I have a retro version please?
I'll wait till they have some wrecks and take the injection system
This is a Link to the biggest German MC Site. But have to translate it.
Front Disks look small and it is a steel trellis frame , not an aluminium one like the days of old
More news on the possibility of a zx25r
I want this to happen so badly as Honda , Yamaha and Suzuki will be forced to meet the market and we get a whole new generation of inline 4’s
Fingers crossed, we have gone from the CBR250RR blasphemous blow bag with a chook bike engine in it, to a 4 cyl from Kawasaki. I bet it won't have snorkels or the tiny front discs.
Rumour is it will be 39hp. isn't the zx2r-a 45hp?
Surely not! With all the tech these days and just simply comparing it to a modern 1000, I would expect 55 - 60 bhp at the crank. 39 would be very disappointing. Maybe the plan is to leave a little up their sleeve for later releases. Assume that there is a release and then later ones.
More hints of this becoming a reality. Article says it will be made in Thailand and Indonesia with engine made in Japan.
Mentions a price of 200000 THB.
but what doesa 200 thou baht mean in aus currency?
If it is real and they are sold here, the question will be how bad the Australia Tax lumped onto the price will be
new i do not think will be affordable but after a few years may be a grey import
I just want the engine out of a crashed one to put in a ZXR. That could be a good sideline for me shipping engines to Aus.
reported 60hp from inline 4, now that is worth getting excited about , I am with blair, wonder if we can fit a crashed one into an older A model chassis
