Got my first bike registered today and had my first taste of the open road before the rain set in. Bought for $1100 which included a new battery and a bit of work to get it past the RWC. Belonged to the seller's missus who no longer rode. 51,000km on the clock with many more to be added I'm sure. Pics to follow, I'm sure I'll be on here a bit as I learn how to muck around with it a bit more.
Have fun with your new ride. The Across ticks a lot of boxes....some like them....some don't. I happen to be a fan and we will probably catch up once you return to Gods country
The lock-up compartment sealed the deal for me, great idea and I wonder why more bikes don't have it. I only bought it as a commuter/weekend warrior so it'll be perfect for that. I'm looking at a week of dreary rain down here in VIC so I'll be super keen to get a few rides in as soon as I'm up there.
