Just wondering what people thing of the 05 Kawasaki Z-1000?

I seen one at the williamstown bike club on tues morning and it looked horn! He guy had done a lot of work to it..including a lot of carbon fibre, aftermarkget mirrors, and a nifty numberplate that used like ninja font that said "Z-One"

Dunno...the street fighter type buel look is changing my taste in bikes lately.

Heres a pic of the standard one.

Also he has short stubby mufflers on the end that are about half the size.
Carbone Look of course!!

That is nice!

I know allot of people say the Z750 is a great bike to ride but I had never seen the 1000. What is the price like? Oh and I am loving those pipes, don’t know why you would change them.

I heard short and stubby are the latest trend, and that suzuki are going to be using them on their bigger bikes next year? Who knows.

pics from the paris show the gsxr with a stubby exhaust (see the gsx-r pics here: http://erickb.free.fr/paris2005/ - link originally posted on netrider)

The 2006 r6 is supposed to have these too (see http://www.sportsbikerider.com/useruplo ... 6%20R6.jpg) or http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/produ ... /home.aspx )

It may just be me, but I like the side exhaust still. If you've got it, flaunt it etc.

Perhaps that's just because i know I won't be able to afford a bike with a stubby or underseat exhaust for a few years...

I saw the z1000 at the melb. motorbike expo - to be honest I wasn't that impressed with it (personal opinion - I know lots of people like them). I would prefer the sv-1000 or fz1 (I know these are half-nakeds rather than full naked - I can't see myself on a full naked).
