Just thought id let yas know..I did 220kms till I hit reserve going to phillip island on Friday...I thought that was a decent effort. That works out to be 4.5 litres per 100 kms! Riding hard though..I get around 6. Btw..where there any fzr riders that went..who wore a helmet with orange sorta stripes on it? Seen it in the main motorbike parking.
That is heaps good dude!!!. I get 180 Km out of 10 litres.. suxs as i wish i had like 40 litres in each tank.

holy crap, how did you go that far, did you not rev it over 8000rpm??? the very best i have ever done was 190km before hitting reserve, lately i only get between 160-180 before reserve. Getting carbies tuned shortly, hopefully that will make a diff.
yeah....i get 8L per 150kms.. havent been game enough to push further...as it stutters sometimes when i get that far...lol ive run out of fuel twice before..but these were wen i first got the bike n didnt gauge the economy yet...lol...was fun pushing it ova 1km to the nearest open servo at 2am..then walkin another 800m to my house coz i left my wallet at home... <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? --> a bit bizzare tho...i dont think i actually poured 12L in(2kr) n i had it on res as well...i managed a bit ova 10L that time... dave
damn....I've got a 92 3LN and I only get about 130 out of a tank - I figure I get about 7L/100km. There must be something wrong with my carb. synchronization or something. Getting it serviced this week...it sometimes cuts out when hot, just when idling. Anyone else hve a similar prob?
