One of the previous owners of my bike tried removing the carbs by yanking on the airbox. Don't do this, ever! It has left me in need of the base plate that attaches to the carbs. I have made several attempts to repair it, but previous patching attempts has left something on the plastic that doesn't like to be bonded to regardless of how well I clean it. . Any help with the baseplate would be great. An entire box in good shape would be even better (external screw holes are cracked out, etc...) I am in the USA, please be mindful of that when replying. Thanks! Matt
You could try roughing up the surface with sandpaper and using some araldyte or other quick setting expoxy. Of course, this is assuming you won't be removing the airbox again any time soon...
