took my old fairing off at my old place , they were pretty beaten up so it all went in the skip , now I am seriously regretting this because I have not one nut or bolt required to attach this new set of fairings I have , is there anybody is south east Vic that have a 91 cbr250rr that's like smashed up or never being used again that I can come around and take literally every bolt holding the fairings on and also the nut holding the rear wheel on, I don't no how long that's been missing ,that's a tad scary. (assuming the price I right also )
ive looked on ebay and done a google search , thought I had it , but it was only the bolts not the backings some cosmetic thing .
I suppose id buy some off somebody who was in another state but im not sure how you would go about safely paying for that, don't really feel like sending somebody money for nothing.

Have you tried your local bike wreckers? They normally don't sell fairing bolts only (too little money for their effort), but if you say you need 16 bolts, they might take the time and retrieve them from bikes. New OEM bolts cost around $4 each. I assume you don't like the Chinese fairing bolts.

Most of the ones you need should be able to be bought from your local bike shop, the one to hold the fairing on the front to the guage mount is a tad more special and you may have to source it from Honda. Maybe drop by your local honda dealer, they could look up what you need and may well ahve them in stock, might cost you a few $$

The fairing clips are only needed on the OEM panels. They cost $7, and you don't need it on the Chinese fairings. That's why you get nuts with the Chinese fairing bolts, to replace the 6 fairing clips.

You need about 16 M6, and 4 M5 bolts. The Chinese fairing bolt kits have around 25 sets of bolt + washer + nut. The bolt and nuts are stainless steel, and the washer is made of aluminium, so they shouldn't rust.

The kit cost $15 + postage, and I would recommend you to keep the silver ones (they ARE NOT chrome, as many people think), as they are the only ones that won't fade with time. The black bolts might last about a year, and will start to fade. Blue, red and gold will start to fade in about 3 to 4 weeks.
