    will try the importer again but have tried many times and the old phone does not answer.when i last googled there was one there several pages in.

    hi guys, does anyone know of a Megelli fundi i can speak to? I have an issue with my gear selector and I have a fair mechanical ability and understanding. Im looking advice on how to deal with the problem and potential areas i could focus on for the repair.

    there is a updated nuetral selector for the 6 speed gearbox and on the latest model the gearbox has a new gear selector shaft and different gear ratio,s. that is all i know. the motors are zongshen.

    There is no copy of the service manual, I have the manual of maintenance, available here in this forum, search in the download section.
    I have done some jobs in my megelli, so maybe can help you.

    Cool my bike if it sits for awhile it struggles to start then doesn't hold enough charge to kick over do you have any advice? However when I clutch start it in 2nd It starts well then it will cool and then problem mentioned prior happens.

    Yes first point of resolving my issue I will take it down to get tested and see if I can get a replacement 12V8AH if not available is there an alternative brand?

    I use Motobatt gel batteries in all my bikes. Sometimes they sit for a month or more before being used and they hold the charge well. SSB is also a good brand of gel type.
    Google the number on the side of your battery and see what comes up.

    Heres the part# for the battery
    32210-148-0000 Battery GTX9-BS,12V9ah
    As Murdo mentions a Motobatt or SSB Powersports AGM gel battery is wat u want.
    Find a bike shop that sells them and tell them the bike and that info above
    Should be < $100

    Buy a multimeter (cheap) and test your battery and charging rates yourself ... its easy

    if it has trouble starting when hot then adjust the valves.6 thou inlet,8 thou exhaust.

    do not know of any service manual in english. the importers here had a chinese factory one and went off pictures.motor is zongshen so any manual from that factory should help.
