Hey guys got my Megelli 250s Delivered yesterday and been riding around its got about 120Km's on the clock ATM.

Just wondering if finding neutral become easier with more Km's and if the box loosens up and the clutch becomes lighter.

Another issue is that I can only start in Neutral, no matter if the clutch was in but just this afternoon I was able to start in 1st and 2nd with the clutch in. Tested it a few times and seemed that it would start with out being in Neutral.

I know that there is that problem with finding neutral but I want to know if it gets better with time /at roughly how many km's etc.

Would like to know your experiences with the bike/Gearbox and clutch

    Cheers

    Hye Stef

Congrats on getting your bike mate, super cool. Yes Megelli's do have a known issue with neutral, I was under the impression these were fixed in the latest model. Can I suggest you send a PM to D0_0B as he had his fixed and get his input, he is our resident Megelli guru. As for starting the bike in Neutral, all bikes will start in neutral some do need the clutch in, out of curiosity is the side stand down ?  While I havn't owned a Megelli, I now many other models wont start in gear with the side stand down as a safety precaution. If your not happy with the Neutral issue, make sure you go and see your dealer and get it sorted.

    Take is easy

    Hey Stef
:Thumbs_up:Well done on getting your new Megelli, without a doubt a great looking machine. This neutral issue seems to be an ongoing problem that I felt certain had been addressed, seems not. In my opinion we should be talking about the exhilaration of the bike and not a neutral issue after a mere 120km's.
I don't think in the 21st century anyone should be subjected to this on a brand new bike.
Touch base with whom you purchased the bike from and seek an immediate resolution to this problem, that's my 2 cents worth.
Hope to hear back soon that, ALL'S GOOD.

    Hey guys,

I know its been ages since anyone replied to this thread, but was just wondering if a fix was offered by the importer for the neutral gearbox issue. I have a 2012 250s and have encountered this ongoing problem since I bought the bike.

    Thanks
