Hey guys...we are organising another ride for the melb people..its on the 25th after exams etc So I expect every one of you to come!

We will be meeting at 9am at the Point Cook maccas..just off the fwy..if u dont know where it is just msg back...ill get some pics up when I get the time anyway.

Travelling down the great ocean road prob just to apollo bay and back. Trying to find an alternative route to the boring fwy.

Please post a reply to any interest you have in going..ive posted it up early so everyone had plenty of time to organise.

I know theres a few new melb fzr riders so it would be a great oportunity for you guys to come. Everyone is taking it at their own pace so dont be worried about being slow..you gotta learn somehow. Besides...sandog will be our official tail end charlie. just kidding mate.

Look forward to seeing u guys there!

Sandog...I had my mp3 player going when I went to phillip island...the earphones just fit in under my helmet...still sorta hurts your ears if its not in exactly right...

Makes the trip go by a lot quicker...Find yourself swerving to the beat

I have a heavy schedule pretty much until the end of the first week of december (as marks are in at that time) then it relaxes until mid January.

Yup - I am a marshal for the south east run - Haven't been told exactly what I am to do yet, but I figure there is still time to be told. I will be at the meeting point (which I believe is Village Green - though that will be made clear on Netrider) early on the day.

And as for dealers - I always just sit on them before an assistant comes over. I have done that at the city and ringwood shops. When they ask I just always say "I am in the market for a new bike." They don't know if I'm lying, but then I also have to sit through the salesman talk.

No registration for the run - just show up and enjoy!

And Garfield - looks like I can no longer make the toy run. My wife's family decided that the 12th is the best day to have their 'family christmas get-together'. Needless to say that my father-in-law and I are both not amused as we were looking forward to the toy run...

He is a rider from way back (60's)! He is also my pseudo-mechanic - has taught me a lot about bikes. This past weekend I learned how to do a top-end rebuild on a rz250r (mid 80's two-stroker). He may not be the most elegant when it comes to mechanics but he knows what needs to be done. He currently has 2 bikes himself (fj1100, trx), and was the person that test-rode my fzr250 for me. (I met his daughter just as I was looking to buy a bike / after I had my learners, so he helped me out)

In fact it is so good that a few weekends back myself and my wife, father-in-law and mother-in-law, and husband and sister-in-law all went on a day-trip together on our bikes.
