I just had a look, and we now have 275 signed members since 2003. Well done Dean, and others who have helped make this site what it is today

275 members and we STILL can't organise a decent sized group ride. :p

It seems that the forum is fairly active at the moment, would it be fair to say that this is a recent improvement? Or is it always this busy?

As much winter as we get here anyways...

What I am really impressed with is beyond the member count but us having about 40 active posters on this site, a number which seems to be increasing recently. So in answer to Sobil's question - it does seem to be getting busier which also means more people to draw knowledge from!

I remember... When this forum first started perhaps 2 years ago there were perhaps 10 active people on it, only 3 of us with fzr's (the other 7 were Dean's fishing or gaming buddies).

Winter can still produce some nice sunny days, albeit not warm days. But I still like to get out in winter, but I make sure I get home before dusk and the real coldness setting in.

But there is also a plus side to winter......... better dirt bike riding.

I am going to do a hare and hound day next month, I am really looking forward to that

I've been thinking of doing some touring to hunt down some better twisties interstate... but when it comes to it; i CBF travelling long distances with bags on my Fizzer. Mebe when i get the Trumpy

...On the other hand... with a mate in Sydney, and family in Brisbane... maybe a tri-state twisty run is in order before i sell my lil FZR.
