can anybody tell me if the bds28 is in the vm29, vm33, rs smoothbore or a vm round slide, no-one can tell me exactly what needle and seats i need for my carbs fzr250 2kr mikuni. I have emailed mikunioz and asked if their 786-35015 vitom tip needle and seats will fit my carbs but it seems the question is too hard for them no answer as yet (3 days) although they look exactly the same i want to be sure before i purchase a set of 4 if they are the right n&s i probably will buy 8 as i have two fzr250 to try and get on the road

just been down to check out needle and seats for watercraft 44, they are the same only the hole size is 1.5. is there any dramas if i use those needles what would i have to adjust to compensate for the faster flow of fuel into the carb bowl or should the floats be able to handle it

well still no reply from mikunioz, so i ordered a set of needle and seats i'll give it a try and see how well it goes, was thinking bigger needles I may need to run the bike without petrol pump so as not to force too much petrol into carbies and just let gravity do the job, won't touch the floats yet they may be ok to stop the as they are If anyone wondering the needle and seats are for a Yamaha jet ski I'll let you all know how it goes

so far so good put the larger needle and seats in no flooding as yet, sounds like carbs definitely need balancing will get onto them thru the week just need to know the best way to set idle at 1500rpm, (car is easier only one coil but bike 2 coils) going by ear at the moment
