As i mentioned in another post, this could be one of your last chances to see the big 1000 motgp monsters b4 they go down to 800 (and rossi on a bike, not in a cage), and i **** u not, they have to be seen and heard in person to be believed. and it sounds like vermeulen will also be riding a motoGP machine - so be a good opportunity to see an up and coming australian riding. With that said I'm not going. Too many other commitments coming up...

all seems pretty quiet on the motogp front, garfield. Weather looks good and I'm still heading down on the friday morning, looking forward to a mad weekend in the camping ground. Well i ended up heading down to the island just for today and had a damn awesome time! I still can't get over the sound the Yamaha M1 makes... words simply cannot describe it!!! Took my camera & gear down aswell, thought it'd be good to get some good shots. Ended up taking about 240 photo's - and i've narrowed it down to about 34 good ones, and of them about 10 that i really like. As soon as i've found a decent place to host them all.. i'll post a link for everyone to have a look.

You know.... I was at the GP for 2 days and that's just about all I got for Pics too. Just so much going on to stop and take pics of it all. Thanks for sharing them with us.
It was a good day - ended up there myself (my thesis was submitted on Friday, so I celebrated by going to gp on saturday - today I am back working as usual). It was a last minute decision else I would have seen if you wanted to travel with me. Nice pics though - I didn't get any myself.
