Hey guys, So my bro got his motorcycle learners recently. He's a confident rider and has ridden dirt bikes for years so wanted to get out on some quieter road and give it a quick try before he commits to getting a Q-ride course or potentially buying a bike. Can anyone recommend a good motorcycle hire joint in/around Brisbane? I cant imagine they hire bikes out to learners so I'll need to let him use my bike while I hire one. Problem is places I've inquired with seems to want BS! amounts of money for bond and have insurance excesses of THOUSANDS (like up to 4 grand) of bucks written into the contracts? Cheers all!
@kiffsta mechanic Mike hires motorcycles out, have no idea what rate structure is in place as I've never hired a bike from him.
In saying that though i did ny q-ride course with Hart at springwood, having only ever ridden a quad. It was easy. Good teachers and well priced.
That would be awesome man! Only if you don't mind though, wouldn't be only be a short ride. Yea I went with Hart too, it was excellent. I have no doubt my bro would pass the course with ease, I think he just wants to see how it feels on the road before committing.
Yea I got rid of the 600 about a year ago. I was going to end up plastered on a tree somewhere in the hinterlands
