HI everyone, this is my first post, and geez im glad i found this forum. I just recently ( 3 weeks ago) brought myself a snazzy 90' 3LN. I picked it up and rode it for a week. Went like a dream. And all of a sudden last week, it wouldnt start. NO sparks in plugs, so replaced them and the leads, cleaned filters and balanced the carbs. And its still not going. Turns over but doesnt start. Any hints? Also does anyone know of a mechanic that'll touch em thats good in western vic? Cheers
Check the battery voltage, FZRs will crank over but not fire on a weak battery. Start bike using jumper leads off a car to check for spark at plugs. Report back findings <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->
Thanks Dave, Got it going and took it for a small crusie, 4km. Let it run for a bit and turned it off. Now when started its got the same probs, as some of the other posters, Wont rev and wont idle least its going
