Hello I was cleaning the carburetor and while taking it out my dad broke of a little pipe.

Anyone know what this is called / part number? Small little pipe on the right side of the carbs when it's installed on the bike and your at the rear. 3LN3 fzr250[IMG][IMG]

That's the choke tube - two options you can flare the end ever so gently [it's brass and will be somewhat brittle] and reinsert it to get an airtight seal, or you can just work it back in and put a small ring of epoxy to seal it back up.

Obviously everything will need to be perfectly clean for epoxy to adhere

AAH - I just noticed, it did break off clean leaving part of the tube in the carb body

Do you have a hobby store close by - wondering if a small sleeve into the carb body and then epoxy to get an airtight seal will work - IIRC @GreyImport had one break like that - hopefully he can chime in

It is something that a jeweller could help with because of the delicacy and the scale, if you could persuade the ends in the carb body out, it could be silver soldered

Yea tape it down into place first , then epoxy around it so none gets inside the tube etc

Looks like piece of it remained inside carb-body.
If epoxy doesn't work, you can remove remnant from carb-body.
Then insert short straight section of brass-tubing.
    Then connect with hose.

Tape it down in position (after cleaning the carb externally with a solvet and drying it off) and mix up some two part metal epoxy eg JBWeld and epoxy it in place.
