Pleased to announce I am now the owner of a suzuki RGV.

Picked it up today, its a 1993 with 15,000 on the clock. Engine needs a bit of a clean and tune up..but apart from that it looks great and goes very very well from what ive tested.

Advertised for 3,250 which was cheap as it was..managed to somehow get it for 2,500. So I am pretty pleased with that.

    Ill post pictures soon

Hoping to have it registered this week if I can. Not much really needs to be done except tyres and a foot brake lever. So if I can get it road worthied by like wednesday..register it and be on the road thurs/fri. Thats my aim anyway.

So if anyone wants to go on a easy ride..or even just meet up? Dont wanna take it on the spur in the first few weeks haha

Honesty...u cant compare mate. At least twice as quick. Ive ridden my dads cbr600 and id say it compares to that at till about 100 kms. Surposingly it does 0-100 in 4.1 seconds. So thats only .4 or so of a second quicker than a 600.

Its not reg yet..so I havn't ridden it other than around the block. And even then, turning a corner..and puttin it in second..the front wheel feels like it wants to come up.

Fzr was getting a lil old...blowing some smoke. (though I fixed that with some penrite 15w-60 oil) Too many things would just brake every time id go for a ride..so it was time to upgrate. Great little bike the fzr was...

Power wheelies in 3rd gear ey? Fark thats alright. Ive only taken this around the block so not managed to get it into third yet...Definitely wants to lift the front wheel in second .

You live in melbourne? lol I should have it on the road by tuesday now.

i forgot to mention that he first advertised it for $6500, but ended up getting him down to $4200.

the dude before him hit a dog and damaged the fairings a bit so he replaced the whole set offairings with brand newwies. so the bike also comes with the old damaged fairings which im gunna fix up and repaint in a GP scheme of some sort
