hello there a new member here just like to say hello after about 15 years out of bikes mainly 2stroke 125s ,kmx125,aprilla rs 125 aprilla red rose 125 .I will never forget the satisfaction i got  replacing the piston and rings on that kmx when  it started up first kick.
Anyway a guy in my town had a 1991 gsxr250gj73 not running and left outside for a number of months it had new tyres chain and sprockets a big dent in the tank and cracks in the tail fairing but all there except for the clutch cable and battery he wanted 200 I gave him 150 .
I knew these were rare enough machines but now I really know their scarce .
I bought this bike as a winter project but I am finding it hard to get to the shed at the moment as I have a 9 month old boy .
so is there anybody on here with knowledge of these bikes and their spares commonality I already have a manual but its in Japanese also I would like to replace the tail anyone know of any that would fit with not to much trouble thanks...

    Hey Sawboss

welcome to the Forum, the GSXR250 is rare as rocking horse poo in Australia, I know member Dusan has one, however his arrived without an engine so he fitted a Suzuki bandit engine.  As for Parts sharing, I do believe there are common parts available from the GSX250F Across and the RGV250. Also member ronforrecords has one, he might be a good place to start with any questions, send him a personal message if you like.

Good luck with this one as they are rumoured to be an incredible bike, they were imported into Australia in very limited numbers, my advice would be to keep an eye on ebay Australia and eBay UK for parts.
