    Hi all
I started my bike, went to pull out of carpark and NO FRONT BRAKE. The lever pulled all the way in with no effect. I managed to stop using the kill switch and clutch and a few seconds later I had brake again. It happened 4 more times, at random, on the way home. I had brake most of the time but it was completely unpredicatable as to when I would or would't have it. Was a nervous ride home in peak hour traffic. Any ideas? The bike wasn't hot though the weather was and I don't think its air trapped because pumping made no difference. It worked or it didn't. Hoping for some ideas.

are the caliper pistons seized, was the lever soft or hard, is there fluid in the master cylinder, any leaks?

sounds like no pressure in the lines.. normally means blown seal somewhere allowing air into the brake lines or caliper.

Stuck seal in the master cylinder will sometimes do that, will require a rebuild with new cup on the piston.
