No Rides as I'm off the road :-(

    Been a shitful 6 weeks or so.

    Issues with the Kids mum, work has been painful and to top it off - my bike has been unrideable for a few weeks.

    Just over a month ago, I went for a leisurely blat. I took off from the lights as normal and then I lost all revs and stalled mid-intersection. Got it restarted, but had little power.

    Got to the otherside of the intersection, and had a look see but all looked fine. Bike started normally and it ran ok.

    Heading for home, I again lost all power and revs on a roundabout. Scary to say the very least. Got off the roundabout and it took a while and it finally restarted.

    Bascially as soon as the bike warms up, I loose all power and revs in first and second. I struggle to get to the other gears, so no idea about those. I have absolutely no idea what the problem is?

    I haven't been able to get the bike to a mechanic with all the crap going on, but a big :thumb_ups: to Chris who is coming over tomorrow to sort it out.

    Hey Darren
    Sorry to hear about your bike but it can't be too serious. Perhaps you got a bad batch of fuel, I'm only guessing.
    It sounds very much like a fuel issue, sure Chris will get you going again.

    could be, i sucked in rust from the bottom of my tank and clogged the carbies im pretty certain. I changed the fuel filter but i think the new one was abit crap first time running on reserve with it total loss of power and then hard to start (on the highway at 110km/h mind you) . big job this weekend.

    Did you fill up at Kilcoy on the last ride? I topped up a few days later, and she was starting to run a little rough then

    check the intank filters, i had my main one go bad an it caused noticeable problems
