    Hi guys

Hope you dont mind me posting here (please remove if there is an issue)- but I am about to start working for PM Lubricants. I've told you all (and plenty of others) about them before (a couple of times). But basically:

-Extremely high quality oil, grease and a fuel additive suitable for just about any application
-Oil designed to a quality standard so high you can literally feel a difference- whether it's a performance increase, reduced vibrations through the bars, smoother acceleration or lower running temps, or smoother gearchanges.
-increased economy- typically 30-60 km extra per tank (which is what MOST bikes find, some less or very few- I mean literally 2 find no increased economy) or notably increased throttle response, or both
-extended oil drains- far beyond standard manufacturer's specified intervals- backed by free oil testing (Please DO NOT extend oil drains without seeing us for testing! We want to make sure everything is OK!!)
    And
Massively reduced wear rates which lead to increased reliability.

Check out the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/PMLubricants as the customer comments are building all the time, most of them actually surprise me with some of the experiences people put up.

I will be working out of Brisbane, but we post across Australia- if there isnt a distributer nearby, which there is one in almost all states- even Tas.

    Cheers,

    Brad

I'm leery about oil claims; there's been too much snake oil through the years. This thread is pushing the limits of what I personally would consider acceptable for an unpaid advertisement; you do support the community with your garage days (even if you are a bit too far away for me to participate! *sniff*), so I won't lock it up.

I'll leave it to Dave (the site owner) to decide if this should be deleted.

Technical question - how do you reconcile the claims of vastly improved mileage and wear protection (which require tremendous thin-film strength and reduction of friction) with the friction requirements of a wet clutch? Most 'energy saving' oils leave a bike clutch slipping like a soccer mom on an icy hill.

Just quickly as I am on a phone so hard to reply- PM builds lubricants to a quality standard, not a price- in saying that it's pricex similarly to mainstream companies. Not 'energy conserving' oils as they are jaso-ma wet clutch safe, no friction modifiers, no moly, and been in use on wet clutches since the 80's. Proving reduced wear is simple- most people get an immediate power increase, economy increase or reduction in vibrations. But for an infallible, factual and real world independant asessment companies like 'lube tech' do oil analysis, at $36 where you can actually see your wear rates from the actual components of your machine, and see if there has been an improvement or not. I have several, 3 from my own bike which show wear rates literally halved over double the setvice.period (5500 oddkm motul vs 12000 odd km pm)

Understand completely if this gets canned, been a long term member with some exciting news I thought could end up helping a few people out in the end.

    Cheers
