I use Motul 5100 10w40 in the Fizzer.
Its not cheap but its not somewhere u should be using something cheap and nasty

Just make sure its motorcycle oil and not designed for cars.

Iridium vs standard plugs ..... lots of discussion on the interwebs :D

The Fizz had a set in it when I bought it but I put in new standards....will buy a new set eventually to see how they go and compare.

I use 10w-40 Shell as thats what my bike shop sells :thumb_ups: , as for plugs, they are CR9e for standard plugs and CR9EIX for Iridiums, oil is 2l without changing the filter or 2.6litres with a new filter. The filter is HP303 (Hiflow filter)

i just changed the original iridiums in a falcon with190k on it and was still running ok but the tips had burnt off, i use iridiums in my bikes for longevity and buy them from the states off usa ebay for the cost factor. i think iridiums work best on computerized ignition systems.performance wise[fuel economy, power]isee no change.

I recently fitted a set of Iridium plugs into my ST1100 after 20,000Km on standard NGKs and have noticed no difference in power and a minute difference in economy. These should do about 50,000Km before I have to change them again. Bought from ebay UK for the same price delivered as standard plugs in local Honda stealers.

Rule of thumb, stick with what the manufacturer recommends. The only bike I have owned that used iridium plugs was my CBR1100, they do tend to last longer. I was buying standard plugs for $3.50, a little hard to justify $20.00+ for iridiums. Oil changes every 6000k's so any brand of 10w-40 oil is fine by me.
