just found my old XR100 from my childhood, this bike was neglected and flogged my me as a kid and then stored in a shed, forgotten...

i found it covered in dust and half stripped, so i finished taking her apart and cleaned/unblocked the carbie and tested the spark plug... yep, spark plug still worked... carbie was now unblocked, and the engine still cranked...... i had my main 4 ingredients ; air, fuel, spark, and a moving piston..... how could i resist??

once i had the pipe and carbie back on i rigged up a makeshift fuel supply and once that float bowl filled and the choke on.... the old Honda burst into life after 13 years of hard storage!!:drinks:

i just sold my 1997 model XR100R for $700 to a bloke who is a bike re-birther.... he totally agreed with me that Hondas have always been gold, and you know what, that CRF100 engine/carb config looks identical to the 97 models, why evolve something that's already proven and perfect? great dirt bikes
