Well you probably guessed, but I had a little accident.... I am ok. Just a bit sore and some gravel rash.

Some tool in a maroon commodore decided that he didn't need to stop at a red light, and I decided that I didn't need to park the Across in his grill and laid my baby down.

A few days ago, I was zipping up the shops to grab coffee and was waiting patiently at a red light. My light went green and I started through the intersection when barrelling through the intersection was this friggen commodore. Full lock front and back. I didn't skid nor did the other guy break. Rather than slam into his door, I make the only choice I could and laid her down.

As I rolled I saw the bike miss the car - just - and he kept going. What a cockhead.

I must have wiped off more speed than I originally thought as she is in much better condition than I'd hoped for. She is still rideable. Replace mirror, indicator and possible clutch lever.

The fairing is surprisingly not ripped apart, just some great scratches...

Hopefully just a sand and respray.

Glad to hear you're OK mate. Wearing gear? I had a stack once wearing shorts and T-shirt and apart from the broken bones I was wearing stockings for a month so I didn't stick to the bed sheets...

Well I'm all healed and so is my girl :)

Replaced the indicator, and have replaced the fairing with an exact colour match. The fairing came off a bike that had been dropped and the scratches aren't too bad. The fairing could do with a respray, but she's rideable again :)
