A posting earlier this week by @cantafforda600 about noises emanating from the rear suspension got me thinking about my own bike. I haven't really had a good look underneath my bike ever apart from undoing the sump plug.
@KICKERMAN360 responded by saying keep everything greased up and you'll never have a problem.

So now that my leg is better I promptly decided to explore the underneath of my bike. Armed with a toothbrush and some rags and a can of degreaser I perused the rear suspension. I noticed one grease nipple and couldn't see much else.
Emptied a can of degreaser and found the following

I've got 3 of the buggers. Hence my heading...out of sight/out of mind.
Now to find my grease gun ?????

Wow, grease nipples! On all of my bikes (well, I haven't looked on the 600 yet) you need to fully disassemble the linkage to get in there (and do it by hand without losing the rollers). My cousin used to drill and tap grease nipples onto the swingarm of his trail bikes too... Now doing them by hand it a pain.

    Thats on the ZZR Phil?

Pretty logical thing .... are they original or home engineered?

Far as I can tell original, reason they look so new as they were covered in oil and grease, will check the manual.

Just checked the manual.....rear suspension has 3 grease nipples so all is standard on the ZZR600 :D
