Ok well the mt frame has been polsihed, engine rebuilt, fairing fixed but now its time for paint job.

I need your help on this because I have no clue on what colour to paint it. Ive look at every corner of the web but still havnt found a paint job that makes me blow my load. Give me all your ideas, pics and thoughts. I wont be painting it for about another 2 weeks if not 3 so I have time. But its pissing me off I want to know what colour.

I would like after market colour because the factory colours are boring so just smack me ya ideas or pics. You can send me pics of any cool paint job on a Yamaha or not.

    Jarmizz@hotmail.com

    Thanks for ya time.

I was considering painting my bike, and when I saw this I quite liked it. Simple, but nice. I like solid colour schemes personally - I know that isn't everybody's cup of tea.

Else you could wait and paint the first rossi replica yamaha once he introduces his new motogp bike.

I also saw a shocking paint job on an fzr out at a shop. It was a 1990 3ln, and it was silver speckle painted (with flecks of pink, red, purple, etc.). Reminded me of the sparkles that some girls put on their skin before going out to nightclubs. It also reminded me of the colour you may paint a 3 year olds first bike. But definitely not a fzr. I wish I had a camera - would've taken a picture.

personaly id go with black and silver, blue and black, or midnight blue

im gonna respray me teal across,

im either going to respray the black, with a new coat of black and change the teal to a dark yammy r6 bule or a shiney silver colour.

hmm i may do some photoshop work to see what it will look like,

so yeah back to the fzr i would keep the stock paint jobs but just change the color schemes or the dcal font to make it look more updated, but if it had the genisis sticker id take that off cus i dont like it

I thought those were just decals that he would have put on the sides, not paint.

Fair enough - I thought you meant that the paint job would be tough. I do like the blue though. It was just a nice choice - though I agree with the white decals.

When I was buying my bike there was another fzr. It was a deep (very deep) metallic purple. It looked black unless you got it just right in the sun. I personally liked that one as well. It didn't have any decals or anything else on it, though I am sure with just the 'standard' fzr stickers it would have looked nice.

    These may help you as well - I may have uploaded them previously. If not, and you want them, let me know as I think the site that is hosting them reduces the image quality. {edit: actually the quality didn't come out too bad}

FZR decal sheet (from fzr archives - as on sheet)

I personally like the exup inside. For those that don't know - decals can typically be made at most printing places, just have to make sure that you pick good quality materials.

ok yeah i think you said factory colors are boring i would have to agree with that in regaurds to the fzr because they look so dated i cam across theis one which looked really good ! it looks factory but if its not the some one did a great job of making it look factory, cool and modern. the best one ive seen so far is tommos but i think this one just edges it out

I've seen one like that as well, so I assume it is actually a factory paint job. Is nice though!
