I checked the wiring and it's all good but it still wouldn't turnover so I hooked a battery upto the bike battery for 5 minutes then took the positive off and touched the solarnoid with it and it started after a few times of trying it.

Depends on what they are .... some things are available and some are impossible to get

Things differ between the different 3LNs

    http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threa...0-3ln-bodywork-frame-engine-carburetors.3469/

You need to detail the reasons u may need a certain part as there may be another solution to the problem

The FZR is a grey import ..... but certain parts may be common with the naked version , the FZX Zeal which are available just from the local Yamaha dealer
And even certain parts are used in ATVs , snowmobiles , jet skis etc built by the same company (Yamaha, Kawasaki etc)

Part numbers are always a good start .....

i reckon the copper contacts under the solenoid cap need cleaning if you can get to them.

if you look on ebay their are solenoids there. also try ebay global as it will give you a better choice.
