    hi there.

Does anyone know of a direct petcock replacement for a 1981 gsx 250? I am after a basic setup without the vacuum line. Tried doing a google search last night. I am just not sure of the exact measurement. Was hoping someone has done this before.

I am replacing those shotty CV carbs with some mikuni VMs. Any help would be awesome.

    Thanks
    Brenden

    Hey Brendan,

I've seen on ebay that there are a number of universal petcocks available with a number of different mount sizes. Seem to cost anywhere between $30-$50 incl shipping.

If you search "universal motorcycle petrol fuel tap" followed by the mount size e.g "34mm" some decent non vacuum operated taps turn up.

Also Pingel taps, USA, have a wide range of adapters to suit many bikes. Not exactly cheap of course.
