On a recent trip, a mate and I decided to stay overnight in Peterborough (South Australia). Peterborough has a lovely little motorcycle museum run by Ian (the owner and collector) and his wife. The museum is in an old church. $7 gets you through the door and, if you’re into other old world collectibles (I think it's called Bric-a-Brac), then this place has heaps on offer.

Following are some of the collection. I tried to get as many “different” bikes as possible and hopefully I have put them in their right groups.

Ian has an extensive range of small capacity motorcycles, a great many of which are from Italy. This is not a complete list of all the bikes on show, but it will give you an idea of what there is to see. I’d never heard of most of these bikes, so I guess @Murdo or one of the other more worldly/knowledgeable forum members can elaborate on any they think warrant an honourable mention. My favourite is at the end of this thread.

Plenty of little bikes and motor-bicycles; I knew a few of these makes. Be cool to say you own a Maserati (even if it's a motorcycle)! There’s plenty in this group I would have loved to have ridden back when I weighed less than these bikes!

I’m a big fan of the Supercharged Benelli 250/4. Ian has one in his collection. See if you can tell what’s different about it?
