    Cam chain or clutch noise, The only noise mine makes is the a bit of clutch rattle at idle, I hope I don't get a cam chain noise anytime soon.

    Paid $2990 for mine on the road with 6 months rego.

    As I have stated in a previous post, The CBR's have a high sale price as most of them that get traded in need alot of money spent on them to be able to return them to the sale floor as they are mostly dropped and flogged so the shop sells them at a price that recoops the money back which turns into the average sale price.

    ahh comparing these prices, i was silly enough to not look at the average price before i bought it. coulda saved a fuckload.

    i payed $4200 for FZR250 3LN (1991).

    It started first go, wasnt blowing smoke, sounded clean, idle'd perfect.

    2 months later...
    * Registration + insurance
    * Worn sprockets
    * New steering heads
    * Wheel Bearings
    * Chain + Gaurd
    * Carbies cleaned (Seals worn = $$)

    atm ive been waiting patiently for her for 3 weeks and the days are counting. She's at the mechanic getting the above replaced.

    Mechanic said compression's fine so im happy it doesnt require a rebuild. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->:):)

    i got my 3ln for £250 sterling but it's had it's fair share of probs but we have an understanding that if it gets me from
    A to B it gets the nicest parts i can get! next is a little metal work to the rear sub frame and a little filler in the tank and
    a fresh paint job and she be ready for the [IMG].
