theoretically yes but the mixture change with new main jet may change that.

    Hi all
My bike has been running very well in the last few months I've changed the rear spoket 6 teeth less now put a bigger jet in the carby but in the last week or so my bike has been running like **** it won't idle and seems to have a miss I've gone back to the std jet put a new plug in and have changed the coil and it still seems to be playing up any ideas of what it may be?

Not being familiar with the bike, firstly I would check the carbs are screwed into the boots firmly. Then spray carb cleaner around the area as the bike is running if your revs rise there is a vacuum leak somewhere!

Yea as Huntsman says ...if youve had the carbys off check everything is seated correctly and tightened firmly .... its not an old bike but check the rubbers are ok visually as well ... also all hoses etc are right and in good shape

I would try and sort out the problem first, easier to do with a stock setting as it takes a variable out of it. Once sorted you can put it back..... As if I deciphered your post correctly the bike had been running well on the bigger jet for awhile.

If it's not a carb issue, then have a look at your Petcock, megelli had issues early on with them

if a vacuum operated petcock go to a manual one and block the vacuum line off.importer did this on all water cooled ones.

it is a screw on, so undo yours and look at a bike wreckers or bike shop OR eBay.

from eBay the Honda ones look the same as fitted now but check out the pit bike sellers. Chinese would be cheaper than Honda.
