QLD - Sunday - 4th of September Ride Out

    Mark the 4th of September as busy in your calender, we are hitting the road.This one might be slightly longer as the plan is to head north and have a run through the Sunshine coast hinterland, all up about 300 kms

    Stay tuned for more updates, meeting points etc will be posted shortly.

    Gateway Motorway/M1
    1. Head north-west on Gateway Motorway/M1 Partial toll road 23.7 km
    2. Exit onto Gympie Arterial Rd/M1 Continue to follow M1  7.3 km
    3. Continue onto Bruce Hwy  18.9 km
    4. Take the exit towards State Route 85/Kilcoy  1.1 km
    5. Continue straight  500 m
    6. Continue straight onto D'Aguilar Hwy  29.0 km
    7. Turn right onto Kilcoy-Beerwah Rd  13.5 km
    8. Turn left onto Booroobin Rd  1.1 km
    9. Continue onto Maleny-Stanley River Rd  5.9 km
    10. Turn left onto Postmans Track  1.7 km
    11. Continue onto Aherns Rd  10.8 km
    12. Continue onto Ahern Rd  1.6 km
    13. Turn left onto Maleny-Kenilworth Rd  22.4 km
    14. Continue onto Elizabeth St  750 m
    15. Turn right onto Eumundi - Kenilworth Rd  1.0 km
    16. Turn right onto Obi Obi Rd  15.1 km
    17. Turn left to stay on Obi Obi Rd 4.4 km
    18. Turn right onto Flaxton Drive 7.3 km
    19. Continue onto Main St  1.3 km
    20. Continue onto Maleny-Montville Rd  10.6 km
    21. Turn left onto Landsborough-Maleny Rd  5.1 km
    22. Turn right onto Bald Knob Rd  9.6 km
    23. Turn left onto Peachester Rd - 9.0 km
    24. Turn right onto Kilcoy-Beerwah Rd Go through 1 roundabout 1.2 km
    25. Turn right onto Steve Irwin Way 15.0 km
    26. Merge onto Bruce Hwy/M1 via the ramp to Brisbane Continue to follow Bruce Hwy 34.8 km
    27. Continue onto Gympie Arterial Rd/M1  700 m
    28. Merge onto Gateway Motorway/M1 via the ramp to Gold Coast Partial toll road 25.2 km
    29. Take exit WYNNUM Rd to merge onto Wynnum Rd/State Route 23 towards Wynnum

    Looks like a great ride but getting to the meeting point will be a bugger.

    its seems everyone is busy on the 4th as well as it being Fathers day, so I need to postpone this ride, any suggestions for a new date ?

    To simplify the issue, why not get all members to state a date that they are free, then we can plan ahead.

    Get everyone to be free on the same date, thanks Phil, haven't laughed so much in ages, for those who may still want to get out and about this coming weekend I am sending invites out to a Brew and View ride on Saturday, departing Wamuran BP servo at 9 am and finishing at the Mobil at The Gap around 1 - ish.  Stopping for an excellent coffee en-route, but be warned there is only toast or sarnies available, no breakfast served on Saturdays.

    See  you if you can make it.  I am up for the replanned ride.................if everyone can agree on a date:)
