well, i bought an R1 exhaust off ebay for my little fzr, and it turned up all sexy as it does. When I took my old beat up exhaust off it, and went to put the new one on, I found that the piping down the bottom of my bike is about 10mm smaller than the piping on the r1 exhaust.

How would I got about putting it on?

Time to go custom!
You'll need to go to a pluming supply store and get an adaptor made up... probably in stainless steel. They might have some in the right size for drainpipes but it may not me in SS.

I'm curious to see pictures as well.

I have to admit i don't really like side exhausts (they're big, stick out in the middle of no where, and look messy and ugly). Chucking an even bigger one on to a small bike doesn't really appeal to me. but hey, it's your bike I still look forward to seeing the customisation anyway.

See, I'm of the other (read OLD) school. Tucking everything under the tail makes it seem like something is missing. Sure it still looks good and gives you all the lean angle the tires will allow, but....

hehe, i'm a minimalist.

I actually don't mind the little motogp ones that stick out the bottom side just in front of the rear tyre, either. Of course, good luck getting that road registered :p

I suppose I don't mind the twin exhausts either, because they look like they're meant to be there. But the single exhaust off the side makes it look like an engineer thought "hmm, well, we've got to stick this muffler somewhere... oh, i suppose just chuck it off the side someplace..."
