The latest Team Tiger race report is now up - contains words (hopefully not too many) photos - some nice ones, and decent onboard footage from both my bike and dads bike.

    TOP WEEKEND OF RACING!

    Cheers

Really enjoyed reading and watching Team Tigers recent racing :thumb_ups:
Gained the same feeling that I experienced in Sydney at the Barry Sheene festival of speed, people sharing info and helping each other out. Keep up the good work, thanks again for keeping us updated on team Tigers racing. :thumb_ups:

Fuel is just standard pump fuel: BP Ultimate 98.
We are looking forward to doing the Island Classic again next year, who knows if I find more money I may be able to come to the Barry Sheene too. Those bike meetings are awesome, and I don't have a lap record at the track formerly known as Eastern Creek :p if they run 250 Production next year I may have to go see what I can do, haha.

Have u done something to the bikes to run them on premium?
I am under the impression the older inline 4s are suited to 91 due to the compression ratio.

Im only asking as I have been reading up on this subject and u guys obviously should know your stuff racing them amd all .... so correct me if Im wrong :thumb_ups:

It's quite possible we are wrong :)
However they seem to run fine on it. We have changed exhaust can, air filter and jets to suit, but we have not invested in any dyno tuning, I would like to know what my bike makes, but it all costs money and we do it on a pretty tight budget.

Yea can fully understand the financial burden .... main thing is youre out there gettin it done :thumb_ups:

Fuel selection is a bit like the oil debate .... everyone has their opinion and reasons why but sadly very rarely based on fact or "testing".
What I have gleaned from my research is that "premium" fuels are for high performance European type vehicles.
And alot of "I love my bike so only the best for her ...I use premium!" or "My bike will go faster cuz I use V-POWER!"
    :headbang:

Next practice session run a few laps on BP 91 and report back ok? :D

    :lolsign:

    cheers mate

Hi GreyImport, I may have read the same thing as you. I run BP 91. I used to run Ultimate 98. When I changed to 91 the end can started to have a nice greyish tan layer next to the outlet. I've been told this means it is burning cleaner? I have not noticed anything other than that though?
