Hi Guys, I stumbled across this AliExpress store by accident. They seem to have a pretty decent range of some hard to get parts for MC2 and MC19. The look like they deal with other brands/models as well. Prices look to be pretty decent also. No OEM stuff here though. https://cvk-ltd.aliexpress.com/store/5589484/search?origin=n&SortType=bestmatch_sort&SearchText=mc22 Cheers Peter.
Works for me on the laptop .... I have an account also Try this .... https://cvk-ltd.aliexpress.com/stor...tore_pc_allProduct.pcShopHead_1000011209641.0
look's like you have to have a account with them for the link to work. Updated my info and the link worked.
FWIW - just ordered a set of both main and big end shells from aliexpress: AHL store, to do two things, measure them to compare with oem thickness AND dissect one of each main and big end shell to see whats inside for comparison IIRC @Linkin used some aliexpress for an FZR250 rebuild and he had to play check, measure then swap, check measure to get the clearances within range Being able to measure the thicknesses will eliminate that part of it
@ruckusman I have used AHL bearings before. They do not have the multiple sizes available like with OEM bearing shells. But hey, when you can not get anything else (unless you want to sell a kidney or 2), they will get you going again.
I'm part way through measuring Yamaha bearings shells, Yamaha unlike the other 3 OEM's don't provide shell thicknesses - from what I have so far it's ~4-5 micron between colours in the Yamaha range. The three other OEM's give a full set of measurement ranges for their shells in the service manuals. From what I have seen on 2 motors, the mains aren't subject to the amount of wear that the big ends experience. Eventually I hope to have either OEM equivalents from Honda or Kawasaki or Suzuki, OR in a pinch aliexpress for the FZR250. It's a shame that Honda MC19 big end shells are all NLA because they'd be drop in replacements for the FZR250, but such is life
Use the link that The Chief posted. You might need to enter an appropriate search term. Try 250 or MC22 or MC19 and all sorts of goodies pop up.
There's a whole suit of 250 parts for all four OEM's on aliexpress, sorting the wheat from the chaff is the knack
