Dealers here finaly got one of these in, very nice looking bike. No apparent problems with build quality, the welds on this 250 are better than the welds on my DR650! Very comfy to sit on, very very nice seat, and wasn't at all cramped for my 5'11 frame. Didn't really feel the weight. I will be lineing up for a test ride after the dealers move into a bigger shop. Anybody else had a chance to ride one of these yet?

Did i say it's a very nice looking bike?

I can't imagine that this is a very popular bike around here and a search confirms that with the lack of discussion/content. However, it does seem to tick all the boxes for my intended use so I'm going to test ride one with the hope of riding away in the sunset...

Anyone have any experience with them?

I have seen quite a few getting around and have chatted with a few owners when I see them parked up, the general consensus is that they love them

Seems to be the general consensus on Youtube on some other forums.

I think the main thing with this bike is to get over the fact that it's not very powerful and it's not intended for carving up corners etc. For the money you can buy something equally nice with more power but for simplicity, reliability, and build quality with decent retro looks, it stands out as good value.

Sadly I couldn't justify $6k on a bike to take me a short distance to the train station so I ended up with a Honda CB125e... sorry. I will leave now if required...
