Taken to running my helmet cam (not mounted on my helmet tho) for most of my riding lately. It's good for recording awesome moments like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuQOxEOkqaM
OK - nice to have evidence if/when you get knocked off and the case goes to court.. Nice use of indicators - NOT Hopefully you gave them the evil eye when you pulled up beside them
why did the camera appear to shutoff? is that because you hit the brakes and the front end dipped quite voilently? good to see you were alright, almost looked like you were going to get cleaned up between the two cars at first
Yeh, very sudden handful of brake and I heard the camera head clunk into the mudguard - swallowed all my travel on that one. Only downside of recording everything in order to use it as evidence to support your case, you need to be conscious/mobile enough to grab the SD card right after the crash - so you can edit out the incriminating stuff before you show it to anyone I pulled up beside them and it was a senior citizen with his ancient wife sitting next to him, staring steadfastly forward. I think he realised what he'd done and refused to engage me.
